Research Interests
1. Developmental Psychology:
a) Expressive communicative action in neonatal and infant mimesis/imitation. Mimesis in infant-mother/father/grandmother/grandfather interaction, imitation between twin infants and in twin infant – mother interaction. Mimesis is defined as the sharing of more or less the same actions, intention, motivation and emotions between two or more communicative partners.
b) Expressive communicative action in playful and rhythmic interactions during infancy.
c) Detection of numerical invariants through visual-auditory coordination to pairs of 2D stimuli in early infancy.
d) Co-development of imagination and action (imaginary companions) in early childhood.
