Personal Statement

My interest is in how psychological experience is shared through physical aspects of communication during infancy.  I have an interest in applying my research findings and a particular interest in testing the effectiveness of individual and group work support programmes for young people who have experienced trauma. I am interested in exploring how communication supports learning and creativity and how infants, children and young people emotionally engage with music, drama and art.
