Dr. Balasubramaniam’s research interests are in the areas of (1) posture and balance control, (2) voluntary goal directed movements and (3) timing of rhythmic movements in the context of music production. Dr Balasubramaniam’s work integrates Cognitive, Neurophysiological, Ecological and Dynamical systems approaches in the study of human movement with the goal of developing a comprehensive science of embodied cognition. |
